The mission of Noah’s nightlight is to bring hope into the hearts of grieving families, who have endured the loss of a child and who are expecting a subsequent child.
We specifically look to serve and honor moms who have experienced a stillbirth or early neonatal loss, and who have conceived a subsequent child within two years of their child’s death. Our goal is to bless people who have endured the heartbreaking loss of a child, but who are expecting a subsequent child and attempting to balance grief and hope.
OUR STORY
My husband Nathan and I fell in love in 2010 and we have been inseparable ever since. In early 2014, we found out we were expecting our first child and like any eager first-time parents, we quickly threw ourselves into preparing for our little bundle of joy. We attended all the prenatal classes we could, read tons of parenting books, prepared our son’s nursery, and eagerly anticipated his arrival. In November 2014, our beautiful son Noah was born.
Sadly, he tragically passed away just a few days after birth, forever leaving our family changed with a giant hole in our hearts. In the early days of grief, we were blessed to have an outpouring of love and support from our wonderful family and close friends.
In response, we vowed to devote ourselves to serving others and giving more, because we felt like we had been given so much. Hence, Noah’s Nightlight was born out of our desire to help others.
